Joining the Quantum Fraternity. Lot of learning and potential collaboration.

Thanks to the Quantum community. It was a privilege and honor to be invited as one of fraternity member in the Quantum related tech space and participate in QExpo 2025 in The Netherlands.

The commitment and intensity of groundbreaking challenges being worked at is truly inspiring and encouraging.

What fuels the drive and enthusiasm in this domain of technology from startups to big size corporates, academia and policymakers, if that is the question, then few technical and economic facts & findings:

A MIT study has shown that the most efficient Classical Machine learning algorithm in ImageNet database gives an error rate of around 9%. Which costs millions $ to develop requiring computational capacity of ~ 100000 ExaFLOPS. Current best super computer EI capitan Supercomputer with 1.7 PetaFLOPS would require ~3 Years to train and learn with this 9% error. To get 5% error rate, the economic cost would exceed some billions $ and take around 𝟯𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 to train . To get a 1% error rate, the projected economic cost would go in trillion $, and around 31 million years on the current best Supercomputer. Quantum ML algorithm can enable exponential acceleration in simulation by reducing in time and non useful data, compared to Classical ML compute in current compute architecture.

Imagine in material based engineered products qualification at every intermittent phase with false positive and false negative analysis, leading to that many physical development iterations run – It took more than 50 years from discovery of Carbon Fiber by Roger Bacon’s in 1958, to get a commercial use in 2009 as first majority Carbon-fiber aircraft.

The radiologist using current AI based models on the MRI and other medical imaging date produces around 40 million error diagnosis, resulting to a burden of 55 Billion $ in the society. Assume a false positive diagnosis , states one has a cancer , and undergoes treatment and test , to finally find no cancer. Some study has shown the current AI false positive on radiology data based AI diagnostic error rate is 24.7%.

A global investment of around 40 B$ by 2024, is not hype in the Quantum related topics, with expected to create 1 trillion $ economic value by 2035 , and provider’s like us – the Quantum tech stack provider , to have revenue of 𝟱𝟬 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 $ by 2035. ( As per some industry analyst reports published).

The curse-of-nonprecision in critical-to-N’dimensional accuracy required for achieving designed & engineered physical products for working in complex dynamic environments are too costly or ill-posed using classical computing framework.
